Pure Search, a recruitment company based in London, were looking to take the entire company on a fantastic and awe inspiring trip. There were to be 40 people in total travelling. The trip was to include 2 private dinners, the first being a welcome dinner and the second dinner was to be a light hearted affair with perhaps some entertainment for everyone to reflect on the trip – swap stories and bid farewell.
The group stayed at Atlantis the palm, which is an iconic hotel in Dubai. There were a few hotels in Dubai that we put forward, however, the final decision was made by an overall casting vote within the company. Atlantis won being the most popular choice for all age group. It suited the event and the group perfectly as it had something for everyone. On the first night we organised for the group to have a private dinner by the beach with the incredible backdrop of the hotel, which is very impressive to look at and at night time it sparkles and really captures the Arabian surroundings. The night continued onto the private ‘Nasimi beach’ where guests were able to enjoy cocktails, shisha and music. As it was only a two night stay, the group wanted to get out into Dubai and enjoy what it had to offer. The magic of Dubai is in the desert, so we utilised this and organised a desert tour. This is an incredible excursion that you definitely can’t do every day. We were picked up from the hotel, in 4x4 vehicles, and driven to the desert. The journey allowed guests to enjoy the amazing landscape and also for the thrill seekers a bit of high adrenaline dune bashing. The first stop was a falcon show where guests were invited to step out of the cars and sit on padded cushions in the sand. It was fascinating learning about the falcon and the history that it carries in Dubai. Once the guests arrived at the main camp in the desert they were able to sand board and ride on camels. Both activities are great to enjoy whilst in the desert! The actual camp, where we all spent the evening, was a real wow! There was cushions laid on the floor and low tables for a relaxed atmosphere and casual dining experience. There were henna artists, shisha areas and an amazing buffet of grilled meats, humous, falafel and lots of other Lebanese treats. Whilst the guests enjoyed their meals, there was a belly dancer who performed and as a grand finale all light were turned off so guests could gaze up at the star scattered sky. Simply breath taking and a lovely way to conclude the trip.
“After spending a couple of weeks trying to book a large company incentive holiday on my own, arguing with airlines and hotels and getting nowhere, I came across Seven Events. The team were excellent from the outset, taking time to listen to my requirements, budget and desires before proposing multiple options. Once decided on an option, Seven Events went away and did everything. I cannot state highly enough how efficient the process was. On the incentive holiday their performance never faltered. Knowing that Seven Events were around, offered a level of security so that everyone was able to enjoy the trip without concern. Their organisation was excellent and within the budget we had agreed. I would have no hesitation in using Seven Events again and would happily recommend them to others.” Peter Ratcliffe Director of Operations
