5 Unique Private Dining Experiences in London
Food is an integral part to the success of any event, and we know how important it is to choose avenue to give your guests the best dining experience. Whether you’re looking for an intimate venue for up to 10 guests or something a little bigger we’ve picked our favorite private dining rooms in London.
- Masonic Temple Andaz Liverpool St
Built in 1912 by Charles Barry Junior this Grade ll-listed Greek Masonic Temple was once home to the Freemasons for their Lodge meetings. And legend has it that for decade’s staff at the former Greet Eastern hotel had no idea of this majestic room. It wasn’t until some construction work took place that a worker noticed the secret room on blueprints, the wall hiding the secret was demolished revealing its heavy studded door and an opulent combination of Italian marble and decked floors. Nowdays this awe inspiring room can be hired for events and private dining for up to 44 guests
2, Bohemian Nooks Lassco bar and dining
This place is stunning in a way that words and images don’t do it justice. The venue is riddled with history, and brimming with atmosphere, and workmanship, all thrown together in a seemingly absurd blend of random styles, eras, and materials. The food, which comes courtesy of Coal Vaults alumnus James Knox Boothman, takes the form of a Modern European-styled feasting menu. Guests of up to 35 can enjoy this unique and private dining experience.2
3. London Shell Co. The High Seas
Guests of up to 40 can take a two and a half meandering cruise along Regents Canal on this cozy and intimate canal boat, all whilst tucking into seasonal seafood dishes and sipping expertly-paired wines.
4,Red Rooster at the Curtain Shoreditch
The Curtain Hotel, one of the biggest openings in Shoreditch for a while has a beautiful designed private room at its in-house restaurant the Red Rooster. The room itself is set apart from the main restaurant and has a private bar and dedicated servers, and can accommodate up 18 guests for dinner.
5, The Depot
Lastly our wild card venue, The Depot situated in the ‘London burbs, Barnes’ and recently taken over by Rick Stein, can be exclusively hired for up to 170 guests to enjoy a stunning evening of seafood, wine and beautiful river views. Each section of the restaurant can also be hired separately for between 20 – 50 guests for a more intimate dining experience.
