30 Apr A right royal celebration!
A right royal celebration!
With the royal wedding taking place in mid May it’s time to start thinking about how you’re going to celebrate.
Plus it’s a Saturday so we’re all free to participate in the number of things going on in the capital that day.
Here’s a list of just a few of the fun things happening on May 19th:
I’m sure that this comes with a royal seal of approval, as Fortnum and Masons are holding a Right Royal Celebration Afternoon Tea from 11am – 2pm where you can watch live coverage of the ceremony.
Skylight, the rooftop at Tobacco Dock is back this year with bars, street food and activities. On the day of the wedding the proceedings will be screened up on the roof, so you can kick back and watch whilst tucking into some food and drink.
Galvin at Windows is offering a special lunch menu for one day only, accompanied by a screening of the wedding. Lunch is preceded by an English sparkling wine reception which starts at 11.45am.
And for those of you who feel like celebrating early (or late) the Roof Terrace at the Ham Yard Hotel is celebrating from the 14th – 27th May with a Royal Wedding Garden Party. Guests will be served a specially created Afternoon Tea which will be a ‘marriage’ of British and American classic savouries and cakes. There’s even a slice of elderflower and lemon wedding cake (the rumoured flavour of the actual Royal Wedding Cake) for you to take home!
Book ahead to avoid disappoint!
