this week many of us are now making the change to work from home and whilst the odd day from home seemed like a treat in previous weeks, currently the unknown length of time at home is feeling like a challenge.
ultimately we still want to keep in contact with everyone but meeting in person, understandably, is not being encouraged so we’re having to look to alternatives. here at seven events, we’re advocates of the power of technology and the virtual meeting can be fun.
obviously you need to make sure that you’re not sat in your pj’s and that you’re ready for everyone to see your surroundings but in these tough times it’s a great way to still ‘see’ someone.
we’re still planning events for future months and that involves speaking to both clients and suppliers. so where we would normally meet up for a coffee, let’s still do the same thing. make yourself a coffee and dial in! we’re excited to think about times when we’ll be back to normal life and having the opportunity to have those conversations now and plan will be fantastic.
