recently, the seven events team were lucky enough to be invited down to the famous abbey road studios to record a song and take a look at the event spaces. abbey road studios is located in north west london and is the most famous recording studio in the world, known for its creativity and technical brilliance. it is home to the beatles, pink floyd, amy winehouse, ed sheeran, adele and so many more talented musicians. for the last 40 years, abbey road has been known for its film scoring for projects such as: star wars, harry potter, lord of the rings and more.
we were greeted in the reception of abbey road studios, where we were then taken to studio 2 for the main event. before the recording session started, we had prosecco with canapes and free time to explore the studios and pianos that had been there since the opening of abbey road! before our vocal warm up, we were told a few interesting facts about the studio, and how the beatles recorded 190 songs there. we then warmed our voices up, ready to sing our hearts out to ‘help!’ by the beatles of course. a memorable experience like no other.
there are 3 studios at abbey road and all can be hired for your dream event or why not take part in the recording studio experience. every guest can have a copy of your song, the perfect memento!
