As we’re always saying, every client wants to do something different when they take their staff off site so today it was great to see ‘Go Ape’ in action.
It’s perhaps a little known secret that they actually do corporate packages and they’re very exciting.
In Bracknell, set amongst the forest trees you get to have a swinging time – literally!
Once the all-important briefing is done and you know how to use the equipment and safety harness then you set off in groups high up in the trees. With zip lines, climbing nets and obstacles galore you’ll really be setting yourself a challenge. With some elements where you can choose the ‘extreme’ or ‘normal’ level then it’s down to you to high wire your way through the trees and show your colleagues how it’s done.
For those in the group who don’t want to take the challenge to new heights then they can either play giant games near the Forest Shelter or take part in a Segway tour and follow the trails throughout the forest. The final showdown is when your guide takes the speed up a notch and you race back to the cabin to finish off with a BBQ or drinks to toast your success.
