Alberto Giacometti At The Tate  Modern

Last Sunday I had the pleasure of visiting the Tate Modern for the Giacometti exhibition. I always enjoy going along the embankment as the views across the river are breath taking and include many of the London sites such as Big Ben, The London Eye, and The Shard to name a few.

Once inside the Tate Modern it’s hard not to be impressed by the scale of the building and the sounds that bounce off the walls. We headed straight in to the Albert Giacometti exhibition on the 3rd floor. Entry per person is £18.50 but luckily I had my mum’s membership card allowing me plus one free entry. Happy Days

10 fun facts about Giacometti

  • His work includes his friends and family

  • He came from a creative family. His father was the artist Giovanni Giacometti

A beautiful exhibition and I thoroughly advise a trip to the Tate Modern to check out this celebrated sculptor and painter
