Alice’s Adventures in the London Waterloo Vaults
The Waterloo Vaults is arguably one of London most quirky event spaces. It is also a very popular performing arts platform for weird and wonderful.
This week, Seven Events ventured into the Vaults and down the white rabbit’s hole to experience Alice’s Wonderland like never before!
The Vaults was fully decked out and turned into a maze by the incredibly talented ‘Darling and Edge’ team. Upon arriving in the maze, the audience were separated into four different groups depending on the playing card you were given by the white rabbit himself. Once in our groups we were led off in four different directions. Each group was guided through their route by the wonderful characters we met on our way.
We experienced an evening of interactive and immersive theatre as we explored and wandered through the Cheshire Cats forest, into the queen of hearts kitchen to meet her head chef, then swiftly on to the Mad Hatters Tea Party and finally to the dreaded court room…
