22 Jun another reason why iceland is a great incentive destination
iceland has always been one of our favourite incentive destinations. with so much to offer groups always have an amazing programme and never come back disappointed.
this week it has been announced that the blue lagoon will have some competition. the country is getting a brand sparkling new geothermal lagoon. this lagoon will be right on the waters edge so guests can stare out to the incredible northern ocean. if that wasn’t impressive enough, they believe you will be able to see the northern lights from it as well which has given it the very fitting name of the sky lagoon.
the sky lagoon will open in 2021 and will be located just outside the country’s capital of reykjavik. the lagoon itself will be 230ft long with unobstructed views of the ocean and an infinity edge. the design is smart and will feature turf topped building to help blend with it’s natural surroundings. other features will include a waterfall, an in-lagoon bar, a swim up bar and saunas!
