Anything but chardonnay?
A once firm favourite chardonnay has been given a bad rep of late. All too often associated with a heavy buttery flavour or overly oaked. But there is much more to a chardonnay, and humble grape are working to dispel this old age myth with their ABC tasting events.
SevenEvents were lucky to be invited to attend and test out the concept and what a fabulous night we had. Easing us in gently with a Chablis, we moved from France, to Germany and New Zealand sampling some stunning varieties, and learning that this grape variety has a lot more to offer than is heavily oaked reputations. All this alongside a feast of charcuterie and heavenly cheese board… what more could you want?!
A wine tasting at humble grape is perfect for corporate hospitality, with a variety of tasting topics, all with a unique and quirky spin on the wine world. The ethos of behind the venture is that wine is for everyone and that nobody should tell you what to like. This makes for fun and engaging tasting events.
