Best Christmas Markets in London

With Christmas creeping up on us, a way to get into the festive spirit is always to visit some festive markets, grab some warm beverages and have a mooch around the sparkly stalls.  We have listed our favourite markets that London has to offer and we believe these ones are worth a visit.  Grab you loved ones, have a few mince pies, purchase some early pressies or just have a mooch around!

Southbank Winter Festival

Situated right next to the River Thames, this is a gorgeous riverside spot to grab a delicious bite to eat.  The food market vendors will be adding a festive flare to their menus and there will be fun-filled family shows including incredible cabaret.  Opening early November, this will be a truly magical way to experience London in winter – with views to remember!

Leicester Square Christmas Market

You can’t get much more central than this, which really makes you feel in the thick of festivities as you celebrate Christmas in one of the most amazing cities in the world!  Pick up some cute crafts or some delicious nibbles, watch a bit of comedy and soak up the atmosphere amongst the festive lights as you smell the cinnamon, gingerbread and cloves coming from the different stands.  You will be sure to feel merry whilst you are here!

Winter Wonderland

Situated in the stunning Hyde Park and opening mid-November is the fantastic (and pretty famous) Winter Wonderland.  This winter-themed playground is a buzzing place to find festivity and indulged in all types of tasty food, fun activities such as ice skating and crazy golf and of course, even meet the man himself!  There is so much to do here and it is something that purely cannot be missed if you are in the capital this Christmas!

There are plenty of options to choose from and this is just a very small selection of the fantastic array that London puts on.  Be sure to start early so you can make the most out of everything the city has to offer this year and believe us when we say it, you won’t feel let down!  Merry Christmas!
