When you organise all kinds of spectacular events for your day job, the pressure is always on when it comes to your own Birthday. Knowing all the hottest new venues and always out and about experiencing the best of London, your friends have high hopes for exciting plans.
In search of a venue that would include good food, drinks and some entertainment, Steam and Rye seemed like the perfect choice. In the heart of the city, Steam and Rye is set within the Old Bank of New York on Leadenhall St, a beautiful high ceiling building that screams glamour and opulence. This coupled with great American classic cuisine, elaborate cocktails, show girls and live music makes for a show stopping city hot spot.
And, for Birthday fun it did not disappoint. We made our way through the cocktail menu, enjoyed a good old American burger and danced the night away to the 20s inspired live band. The atmosphere was electric, and the night constantly surprised with the ever changing live entertainment and outfit changes from the stunning show girls. With the friends suitably impressed and a happy Birthday girl, we will be sure to visit again and for all those Champagne ladies, may we recommend the “South Side Fizz.”
