01 Jun Celeste at The Lanesborough
Last week the SevenEvents team were lucky enough to experience a fantastic dinner at Michelin star restaurant Celeste, in the Lanesborough hotel,.
Eric Frechon is the chef behind the magic, with five Michelin stars he has brought modern dining from Le Bristol in Paris, all the way to London.
The setting is a richly decorated room, with that “home away from home” Lanesborough feel under the softly lit chandeliers.
So much choice!
Not knowing what to choose from the menu, a few of us opted to go half-half on courses, and I started with half of the English white asparagus, truffle mayonnaise, hazelnut and half of the fluffy organic egg, confit peppers and chorizo, which saved me from getting food envy of either dish as both were amazing.
Controversially, I had rabbit for the main course, described as “saddle stuffed with piquillo peppers, satay- spiced octopus, rabbit sausage and split pea puree”. it looked so nice on the plate I almost didn’t want to eat it… although I’m definitely glad I did, we followed this all up with a cheeseboard for dessert.
We will certainly all be recommending this restaurant for dinners and events. The service was impeccable, the staff were so friendly, they couldn’t do enough for us and the food was divine; the experience was one to remember!
Finding the right restaurant, venue or hotel for an event can be challenging, that’s why we make sure we try out as many as possible, so we can provide you with the right option for you. If you want to find out more about how we do this, contact a member of our events team, they will be happy to tell you all about their experiences!
