Cheap Eats London

One of our favourite things to do in the Seven Events office is to eat out,  and we spend all a lot of time deliberating where to go and what to scoff!   But now it’s January and our piggy banks are empty, we are looking for budget friendly options.  London has some super eateries which are a snip of the price of the posh restaurants but still do super nosh.  Here are our top 3 for this week…

Pastaio:

A top notch little pasta restaurant located on Ganton Street. All they do is Pasta but they do it well and each day have a selection of around 5 to choose from. The pasta is made onsite from the best ingredients making sure that you an authentic meal.  Alongside this venue has been designed by the celebrated designer Tom Dixon to create a colorful, contemporary open space with three big share tables and an open kitchen.

Boa Soho:

A chain of bijou Vietnamese restaurants located in Soho, Fitzrovia and at Netil House.  This collection have quickly become renowned for serving delectable fluffy steamed buns with a variety of delicious fillings –make sure to try the braised pork bun, sprinkled with peanut powder!

Chick ‘n’ Sours:

Found in Seven Dials and Haggerston a great restaurant masquerading as a chicken shop! Expect a whimsical menu of herb fed fried chicken, serious seasonal sides, sour cocktails, local beers & cracking soft serve ice cream creations.  This is matched with some the best cocktails we have ever tasted in London, cracking service and friendly atmosphere- who could ask for more !!
