with in-person events still, on hold, this years c&it destination forum has been pivoted into the virtual world. in partnership with tourism northern ireland, this exciting event allows agencies and suppliers to come together for 2 days of networking and informative sessions.
each guest received a luxury hamper from the sponsors in advance, which included an array of treats from northern ireland. i loved the tayto’s and fifteens at break time!
kicking off the two-day event was an interview with line of duty’s very own adrian dunbar followed by a series of 1-2-1 meetings with suppliers from across northern ireland including hotels, dmc’s and activities. in particular, we love what the team at national trust giant’s causeway are doing to promote events and experience and can’t wait to propose the rib boat tour to our clients!
ending the first day was a session dedicated to mental health and wellness, led by professor siobhan o’neill. this session was particularly timely with remote working, furlough and redundancies having a real impact on event professionals over the past year. something we have spoken about on our blog pages
