Last week we attended CONFEC Red in Monaco. The show was celebrating its 15 year anniversary and chose the Fairmont Monte Carlo as a glittering and glamorous host for the special celebration. Popular amongst UK agencies, Confec is a valuable tool, enabling buyers to meet with International suppliers from hotels, convention bureaus, venues and destination management companies.
As a host destination Monaco did disappoint, kicking of proceedings with a helicopter arrival transfer, before checking into a sea view room at the Fairmont. A well organised meeting schedule and exciting locations and themes for dinners kept guests engaged and allowed all to maximise networking opportunities. Highlights from the trip include the Monaco photo rally, a real chance to explore the destination and the free time on the last day was greatly appreciated for a dip in the roof top pool and a chance to relax and enjoy the beauty and charm of Monte Carlo.
