On Friday 28th November the events industry were out in force for the Eventia Awards 2014.
Held at the prestigious Hilton on Park Lane Hotel the awards were hosted by comedian Ed Byrne and we were treated to performances by the Valentinas, The Plague Dance Group and Britain’s Got Talent Finals Jack Pack.
The evening celebrated the achievements of those in the events industry. 19 awards given out in total including categories such as Best Hospitality experience, Best Product Launch, Best Venue Event Team and Events services and logistics supplier of the year.
It was great to see the winners celebrating their achievements with the support of their colleagues and peers before the after party continued into the early hours.
A considerable amount of money was raised during the evening by a silent auction and prize draw all of which was being donated to The Children’s Air Ambulance part of the Air Ambulance Service.
These were the last Eventia Awards. During the evening EVCOM launched next year’s EVCOM Experience Awards, the ceremony will take place on 20th November at Olympia London.
