we’ve all had a tough time in the events world this year, with the unprecedented take over of covid-19 stopping all organised in person events for the foreseeable future. it’s been no different for seven events, an event agency in london used to organising a wide range of events, from conferences, exhibitions and meetings to overseas incentives, company offsites, dinners and christmas parties.

rather than let it get to us, we all put our heads together to enable us to adapt our offering to fit within current times, quickly creating a large number of ways to offer virtual event services to all our clients as well as for new ones.

as this year has been tough on the world’s mental health, our first change was to put together a number of virtual team building activities, to allow companies to motivate their staff keeping up that team morale.  with most people working from home, we all recognise that it can feel like you are working in a silo, and these virtual team building activities can really bring back teams together, and are also a great reward or even an offering to our clients’ customers.  we have quickly become experts on virtual escape rooms, murder mysteries, wine tasting, cocktail making classes and even virtual horse racing.  we’ve further developed a range of gifts to be delivered to those taking part in the various virtual team building solutions which can be a personalised add on pairing well with the activities.

september was an exciting month for us which brought the launch of our own virtual event platform, hubseven, further enhancing our virtual event services! with our solid experience in event management production, this felt like the natural next step, putting our skills to offering virtual conferences, company days and meetings at good value for our clients. with the ability to completely customise the hub to our customers’ own branding, this means we can create the event with the perfect look and feel for each event. rather than some complicated virtual event platforms in the market, hub7 offers a user friendly delegate journey where attendees can easily log in, access their agenda, connect and network with other delegates and attend the virtual sessions offered throughout the day – mimicking a real life event, from home. not only this, but we can offer post event reporting on various parts of the event. our experience in event management production means we can advise on content and the slick movement between sessions, as we recognise concentrating on an event from home can be more difficult for a delegate. we continue to offer our online registration platform as we would for in person events, enabling us to connect with the delegates in advance, send out invites, reminders and information, capturing the data required for the event.

at seven events, we are a closely knit team, completely flexible to each individual clients’ needs and recognise that the service for one customer is not the same for another. our dedication, creativity and adaptability has meant we could quickly change our offerings based on new guidelines, and pivot successfully towards this virtual new world.
