11 Dec Feeling Festive
When you’ve had your fill of hitting the shops for Christmas presents what better way to recharge the batteries than stop for a festive afternoon tea?
Here’s our pick of a few of the best:
The Ritz – Palm Court is sumptuously decorated for Christmas and they even have carol singers to really get you in the spirit of the season. Nothing can make you feel more Christmassy over a turkey sandwich.
The Hyatt Regency – if you’re walking the length of Oxford Street then pop into the Hyatt Regency where they’re serving festive cake pops and marshmallow snowmen amongst the Christmas themed sandwiches and savoury treats. One the kids will enjoy!
Claridges – you’d expect the food to be delicious here and we can guarantee that it is. There’s even mini Christmas puddings and handcrafted macaroon baubles. You must also make sure you pop and see the upside down Christmas tree designed by Karl Lagerfield.
Dalloway Terrace – here at the Bloomsbury Hotel they’ve gone all out with the decoration turning the terrace into a mini Narnia. With an afternoon tea menu designed by Great British Bake Off Winner Candice Brown it’s sure to tickle your taste buds. Make sure you try one of the hot chocolate cocktails too!
