Festive Light Festivals

One of the best things about the Christmas season is all the lights! London love to go crazy on their Christmas lights and they always draw in a crowd! Light festivals have become a new craze, below are a few that you need to check out!

Kew Gardens

Christmas at Kew has been around for six years now and each year it seems to get bigger and better! This Christmas, Kew Gardens will once again transform into a magical after-dark explosion of festive colour. Guests will embark on an illuminated trail around Kew Gardens with the theme being inspired by the gardens themselves. There will be over a million sparkling lights and thousands of laser beams for you to gaze over. Visitors will first encounter the Field of Light, created by Brighton-based artists Ithaca. You will be able to grab a festive drink in the fire garden.

London Zoo

With the animals tucked up in bed, explore the trail where fairytale meets fantasy and larger-than-life, illuminated wild animal sculptures rise high into the night sky. Guests will head into the light vortex through a mesmerising tunnel of contrasting lights. Make sure you listen out for the singing trees that will be singing Christmas classics to get you in the mood!
