28 Jan Fortnum’s have popped up elsewhere!
With such a well-established name it can’t fail to succeed however Fortnum & Mason’s is no longer just in Mayfair… it’s spread it’s wings and moved to the City.
You’ll now find Fortnum & Mason in the iconic building of the Royal Exchange. Taking over from the former Grand Café it has had a little bit of a makeover and from the pictures we’ve seen it’s going to be the perfect place for a spot of afternoon tea or those all-important after-work drinks.
Obviously known for their fine food, Fortnum & Mason are launching a delicious menu with everything on offer from breakfast through to dinner.
A luxurious offering of caviar, shellfish, and hand-carved smoked salmon will be served in addition to light, raw, and vegan options; while Fortnum’s most renowned dishes, including Welsh Rarebit and the Knickerbocker Glory will also be on the menu, along with produce that will be fresh from their famous Food Halls.
If you’re just planning on drinks there’s an extensive cocktail list – the ones that tickled our taste buds were 1844 and the Floral Negroni!
So next time you manage to drag yourself through the hustle and bustle of Bank Station pop over to the Royal Exchange – we’re willing to bet you won’t be disappointed!
