With the nice weather upon us and the night’s drawing out everyone just wants to be outside. Take a look at our recommendations for fun things to do outside.
Skylight
This is a car park that you want to go to without your car! Based at Tobacco Dock there’s street food vendors, 3 bars, blankets for if it’s a bit chilly and the opportunity to practice your croquet ready for those warm nights. With a great view over to the city this is definitely a cool place to watch the sun go down.
Magic Roundabout
Based in the middle of Old Street roundabout this is a fun summer pop up. See it as an urban jungle filled with neon lights, waterfalls, and funky jungle plants. Open from Tuesday to Sunday (so don’t go there on a Monday night as you’ll only be disappointed).
Fulham Beach Club
There’s no need to get on a plane to get to this beach! Fulham Beach Club is bringing summer vibes to West London with cabanas, outdoor parties, sand sculptures, and even a bottomless beach brunch. Just make sure you don’t miss out on the frozen pina coladas!
The BBQ Club
Another of the cities summer pop ups is BBQ Club. Catered by Jimmy Garcia it offers amazing views of the river and the main event here is a six-course tasting menu of everything and anything you can throw on the “Barbie”.
Film4 Summer Screen
There’s nothing more special than watching a movie on the big screen and being surrounded by Somerset House makes it even more of an experience. Check out what films are being shown in August and see what takes your fancy!
