London is always crying out for rooftop space so here at SevenEvents we were so pleased to learn this week of a newly refurbished roof top bar with an amazing view of our great city. It’s one you’ve probably been to previously but you won’t believe what it looks like now.
Savage Garden
What used to be the rooftop bar at the top of the Doubletree by Hilton – Tower of London is now almost unrecognisable having transformed into a dramatic, botanical bar with an untamed atmosphere and some pretty savage cocktails – aptly named ‘Savage Garden’.
This all-day bar and cocktail lounge offers stunning 360-degree vistas that take in some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks. ‘Wildside’ is the large north facing terrace, available for private hire and set-up for all seasons, from lunching al fresco and sundowner cocktails in the summer to hot toddies on crisp evenings come autumn, courtesy of Savage Garden’s retractable roof.
A second south gin terrace is the perfect place to while away warmer days, whilst looking over the City.
This rooftop bar can house 380 people standing and what we’re excited about is that unlike its predecessor it’s available for exclusive hire! So if you’ve got a party or reception coming up that you feel this space is right for then make sure you contact us now!
What’s on the menu?
Through mindful mixology, hard liquor meets savage tinctures in captivating cocktails. You’ll find theatrical served with bold flavours, including the Horny Beast, Devil’s Advocate and Flambard Colada.
The innovative all day food menu ranges from bar snacks to savage feasting with dishes given an unexpected twist through the flavours and serve. Expect the unexpected with plates of charcoal-bun beef sliders, charred octopus with fennel, or pork tomahawk with black pudding fries.
It’s a menu we feel has got to be tried – and we can’t wait to try it!
