01 Dec Getting in the Festive Spirit
If you’re an avid reader of our blogs you’ll know that we are fans of indulging in afternoon in tea in the office, so with the festive season upon us check out our top picks, local to us here at Seven Events, for Christmas versions happening in the capital!
Lanes of London Mayfair
Situated at the Marriott Park Lane, right by the entrance to Marble Arch station this couldn’t be easier to get to. Their Christmas tea features Christmas pudding flavoured macarons, a gingerbread house, coffee & mascarpone Yule log and a warm eggnog with spiced foam.
Intercontinental Park Lane
The InterContinental’s limited edition Christmas Afternoon Tea is a tasty take on the festive classic song The Twelve Days of Christmas, including the likes of dark chocolate torte drum (complete with mini drumsticks) and strawberry filled swan-shaped choux buns.
Lancaster London Hyde Park
Lancaster London’s Champagne Afternoon Tea sees a line-up of smoked salmon sandwiches, Christmas tartlets filled with Roast turkey and fresh cranberries, and roast beef filled Yorkshire puddings with horseradish cream. Waving the flag for the sweet toothed are scones with strawberry jam, orange marmalade and Cornish clotted cream, Christmas stolen, white chocolate and raspberry lolly pops and passion fruit and raspberry macaroons.
Have your afternoon tea with a side of Christmas carols at The Dorchester. Yes you heard us right, at the weekends between Saturday 21st November and Sunday 20th December you will be serenaded by school choirs and the Dorchesters Resident pianist whilst indulging in finger sandwiches, pastries, cakes and mince pies all served with Laurent-Perrier Champagne.
Your mouth must be watering by now, so why not treat yourself whilst taking a break from Christmas Shopping in the city?!
