08 Dec High Tech Venues
If technology is important to you then you’ll want a venue that reflects that, so we’ve picked a few to show you what’s out there and who is leading the way in event technology – from super-fast wi-fi to intelligent lighting and holograms.
RSA House – Nestled in the heart of the West End, RSA house reopened 2 years ago following a £3million upgrade to restore its period features and bring its technology up to date. Their in house equipment includes high-definition cameras for video streaming and simultaneous recording of live images, surround sound and the facilities to support hybrid events.
8 Northumberland Avenue – This venue should be seen as a technology leader. Through its partnership with Musion, it offers the creation of 3D holograms for events and is really breathing new life into the events industry. This is a great way to bring your product to life or simply create a memorable entertainment experience; it really has to be seen to be believed.
Congress Centre – Often a venue that some clients aren’t familiar with this is a functional space with a lot to offer. Its technical specification sheet is an impressive five pages long and is divided into a list of inclusive items and optional ‘extras’ plus full technological support is provided by their team of in-house technicians.
Etc 155 Bishopsgate – The most recent offering from Etc Venues is situated close to Liverpool Street Station and takes up a whole floor of the 13 storey building. As with many of the Etc Venues collection it features high-tech assets such as video walls, a computer controlled lighting system and 1,000MB broadband. A blank canvas type venue the technology speaks for itself and is perfect for branding.
