13 Jul Hit The Ground Running
As the newest member of the Seven Events team, I have successfully survived my first week. With day one including an office move and a list of dates ready to put in the diary for meetings and events. Day two was straight to the Meetings Show to go and say hello to all of our lovely suppliers.
Armed with a list of must see suppliers and a map, I was on a mission. I had the pleasure of meeting a lot of people and finding out some great things about venue spaces that I wasn’t aware of. It was a really great chance to get to meet the people that I will spend the rest of the year emailing and calling especially when those last minute briefs come through! There was also an extremely interesting seminar about the role of venue finders and the importance their role is in an event. Overall I was really impressed by the people I met at the Meetings Show and the entire experience!
The rest of the week whizzed by with meetings, another networking event and submitting my first Seven Events budget and proposal. It’s all systems go for the newbie of the office, with another full on week coming up. It’s great to be a part of the Seven Events team!
