Break the ice at your next meeting!

Break the ice at your next meeting!

Encourage engagement and group participation before the start of your next meeting with an exciting ice breaker activity. Don’t worry, they’re not as complicated or as expensive as you might think! We’ve listed our favourites below:

The Coin Game

Bring in a bag of coins (enough for 1 per person) and ask each participant to take a coin from the bag as they enter the meeting room. Once everyone is seated, ask the group to take a look at the year on their coin and take it in turns to tell a personal story from the year the coin was minted (the funnier the better!).

Two Truths, One Lie

This activity works best for groups of 5 – 10 people. Each participant gives 3 statements to group 2 of which are true – the rest of the group must uncover which of the statements is a lie!

Dream Holiday

This is a really quick and easy way to break the ice. Have each participant introduce themselves by describing their dream holiday – this could also work with favourite past times or new year’s resolutions!
