The importance of meeting face to face
We are an industry of organisers and there is a tendency that so much is done on email to ensure that you have a conversation trail in writing, that in our opinion, the need to meet face to face is being dampened and the ability to talk and discuss is being forgotten.
A face to face meeting is a powerful tool. You get to put your opinion forward and discuss as well as being able to judge the response of the other party in person.
Emails are necessary to back up discussion however they shouldn’t take the place of getting together in person.
Meet your clients, meet your suppliers and build relationships. This is what our industry is built on.
