The Pleasure of Palma

The Pleasure of Palma

There are many destinations that you can choose from when looking into incentive travel and it’s always a challenge to come up with something new.  This week we visited the glorious island of Mallorca and headed for Palma.

You might reminisce of holidays to Mallorca when you were younger (I know I did) however this island has a lot to offer for an incentive.

Firstly, the weather.  Basking in 36-degree heat we visited all there is to see.

Whether you prefer a chic hotel in the old town, a modern hotel in the port or a resort hotel just outside the centre, there really is something for everyone here.

The Marina still harps back to childhood holidays by the sea but now it’s dotted with fabulous restaurants along the port and a couple of clubs for those who really want to see what Palma nightlife is all about.

Everything is very accessible and you can also find your way by looking out for the famous landmark Cathedral – an iconic building that can always help you get your bearings.

For those who like exploring then the old town is a maze of side streets with boutiques, bars, and restaurants at every turn.

For activities, you really should take to the water where endless options include coasteering, kayaking to the famous caves, paddle boarding, and sailing.  If you are happier on dry land why not explore the lesser-known parts of the island on a fun quad bike ride?!

And we haven’t even mentioned the food!  Tapas is a MUST, but the cuisine is both diverse and delicious all with a Mediterranean flair to it.

So next time you’re thinking of where to go with your group, definitely put Palma on your list.  You won’t be disappointed!
