Having just returned from two epic weeks in Japan, I could not wait to share my incredible experience! Japan is a country that has it all…from the futuristic and technology advanced, fashion capital know as Tokyo, to spectacular scenery and cultural experiences in Hakone, to historical events in Hiroshima, to ancient Buddhist traditions in Wakayama, to stunning temples and beautiful gardens in Kyoto, to the weird and wonderful, karaoke loving city known as Osaka!
Japan is a great destination as it has something for everyone. A 12 hour flight journey from London, but definitely worth it! Putting my events hat on, I would definitely recommend this destination to any client looking for a diverse, cultural and unique experience for their upcoming business meetings and incentives. My only advice would be to take any expectations you have of the country and…throw them away! By doing this, you are more likely to immerse yourself in the culture and have a better Japanese experience!
