A new restaurant in Mayfair

For those of you who are a fan of Indian food then I’m sure you’ll be familiar with Atul Kochhar and his current restaurant in Benares in Berkeley Square.

Kanishka is the new kid on the block in the area which is the newest offering from Atul and his team.

Kanishka focusses on the unexplored cuisine from seven sisters of India – the North East which is – Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura. It has a food culture that is as vibrant as its heritage and as beautiful as its people.

There are three spaces here – the main dining room which can seat 110 guests seated or 200 standing, the Raj Tent and the Garden Room.

The Raj Tent can accommodate a private dining group of up to 12 people and creates a truly elegant and irresistibly alluring atmosphere.

The intimate Garden Room with its opulent interior paired with lush foliage is hugely versatile – as suitable for business lunches, networking cocktail parties or formal dinners with a capacity for 40 seated or up to 60 standing.

Knowing Atul Kochhar the food and the service are going to be something to behold. We can’t wait to try it out!
