the safety of guests and event teams has always been of paramount importance to us here at seven events but now more than ever, our clients need to be reassured that all is under control. with more of our clients looking to record their virtual content from a studio, we thought we would share some of the ways we are working to keep everyone safe:
pre-event
prior to guest arrivals, we send comprehensive joining instructions explaining what guests can expect to find on the day. we also advise anyone who is experiencing symptoms of covid-19 to stay at home and follow the governments guidance on self-isolating. delegate management is just one of the services that we offer our clients, to find out a bit more on our offering, click here
on arrival
placing self-service registration kiosks at the entrance of your event will help to limit face-to-face contact. we utilised cvent on arrival software for many events gone by and this is a great way for delegates to confirm their attendance and receive their name badge. here, you can also provide temperature checks, face coverings, hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial wipes for delegates to take with them throughout the day.
lunch time
if there is a relatively small group in the studio, we recommend working with your venue to prepare some individual meals, or alternatively order in. food can be served in recyclable cardboard boxes by staff wearing the correct protective equipment and queues can be managed by placing stickers on the floor 1m apart.
onsite equipment
it’s important to consider the delegate journey during the planning stages, ensuring plexi-glass is in place where needed to separate guests and a one way system is planned to help encourage social distancing. in terms of av equipment, microphones need to be sanitized between uses and gloves worn when using equipment to help prevent the spread of infection.
