Kent House – The Secret Salon

Kent House – The Secret Salon

Recently we were fortunate enough to be invited to a showcase by Evolve Events, at Kent House. It was called The Secret Salon and was an exclusive night set in 1939.

The house was opened exclusively for that evening and on arrival guests were welcomed with an impressive selection of themed cocktails, a plethora of entertainment and activities which included a 1940’s trio, a professional photographer with backdrop and themed props and hair and make-up station, styling guests with a vintage look.

This was then followed by a sumptuous dinner on the 1st floor of the house which overlooked the stunning roof terrace.

Throughout dinner we were thoroughly entertained by a rolling procession of entertainment which included flapper dances and magicians. To end the dinner in style, coffee and cigars where offered by waiters dressed with cigarette boxes. A nice surprise came when we discovered the cigars were chocolate!

However this was not the end of the night, behind a hidden curtain, Kent House’s Christmas theme was launched- A Royal Night Out. Guests walked into a lavish, luxurious space with a quintessential style, the room was draped with Union Jacks, scattered with thrones and a mirrored dance floor was the focal point.

Other highlights included a stunning cake table, espresso martini bar and a professional photographer, the perfect way to end the night in style!
