14 Aug light at the end of the tunnel
there’s no hiding that the last few months have been difficult for everyone. we all have our own reasons why it’s been hard, and we’ve all tried to empathise with those closest to us. but it’s been difficult. there’s no denying it. however, whilst we may not be out of the woods yet, it’s time to focus on the fact that there’s light at the end of the tunnel.
and that’s what we’re walking towards in the event industry.
unlike a few months ago we can now get small groups of 30 people together. this is a positive. our hotel and venue partners and suppliers have worked tirelessly to make sure that their venues are safe and that your events can and will happen. another positive.
we’re sure you’re missing your teams if you’re not back in the office yet, so now is the chance to get teams together in small groups. everyone will want to catch up anyway, so small groups of people is a positive – they will be able to chat and interact better this way with social distancing still possible.
plus the weather is great at the moment. make the most of being able to get together outside.
if you don’t feel comfortable then virtual meetings and get togethers are still at your fingertips. we’ve got so many options to ensure that content is engaging and interactive. there are many positives of getting people together this way still.
your message to people doesn’t change, but how you deliver it has to change. we’re encouraging you not to stop talking.
it’s going to be one step at a time but taking the opportunity of getting people together and building confidence is the only way our amazing industry is going to get back on its feet.
so work with us, the experts, to make these smaller events happen and build that confidence so that as time moves on, and we can get more people together, it won’t seem so daunting. we’ll be with you every step of the way to guide you to the end of the tunnel… where there’s light… and some normality!
