London Cocktail Week

London Cocktail Week

With London Cocktail week taking place from the 6th to the 12th October it got us thinking in the office about our favourite cocktail bars.I think we’re spoilt for choice in London for to places to go and it’s clear that everyone has their favourite – a bit like cocktails too!

If you’re thinking of holding a networking event then often a more relaxed venue is preferred and some of our top picks would work really well so here’s an insight into a few venues that specialise in cocktails….

It’s a hidden gem but The Luggage Room at the Marriott Grosvenor Square is always near the top of our list. Once you’ve knocked on the secret door, tell the barmen what you like and they’ll put together a cocktail to tickle your taste buds. If you’re holding an event, numbers on the smaller scale work really well here.

For cocktails with a view head to the West End where you’ll find both Radio Bar and Vista Bar at opposite ends of the Strand. Vista works fabulously on a warm summers day – perfect for the Indian Summer we’ve all set our hearts on! Radio Bar is still the place to be seen and with views overlooking the river over to the Southbank people are sure to see you too!

If you’re looking for somewhere with a bit of ‘old school charm’ then why not head to the American Bar at the Savoy? This is a classy joint where you can spend hours looking at the memorabilia whilst you’re sipping away on the cocktail of your choice.

And finally, if a bit of celebrity spotting is more your bag, why not swing by the Long Bar at the Sanderson. With cocktails to die for you’ll just want to stay all evening.

Hopefully there’s something here that you may not have heard of before and that’s exactly what we aim to do here at Seven Events. Whether you’re organising an event for large numbers or something more intimate we’ll suggest those places that your guests will want to go to… and if you haven’t heard about it, all the better. Suggesting something a little different is what we’re all about. So put us to the test and give us a challenge – I’ll raise a glass to that!
