09 Feb Love Is In The Air
As Valentines Day is quickly approaching, it’s a good time to start thinking about where to take your loved one as a romantic treat this weekend.
You don’t even need to have a significant other to get involved in this weekend’s frolics. It’s just an excuse to head into London and enjoy some of the events that have been put on especially.
There’s so many wonderful things taking place in the capital to celebrate this age old day.
Here are just a few of our favourites:
Kew Gardens are offering a late night opening, where guests can enjoy being surrounded by tropical orchids, drinking cocktails, listening to music and the entire evening will be Brazilian themed. This special evening will be open on Saturday 13th Feb, however, they are also offering Kew lates for several more dates to follow.
If you fancy something a little different and have always fancied making your own cocktails and LOVE chocolate, then there’s no better place to experience all of these combined over the weekend than at Barts in South Kensington. Be sure to sign up to Uncle Barts Valentines day chocolate cocktail Masterclass, taking place on the 14th February.
Lastly, the super cool underground, abandoned tube stop bar, Cahoots, presents a very squiffy Valentines day picnic. Guests will be able to enjoy a hamper filled with booze, sandwiches, victoria sponge, shortbread and pork pies! There will be live jazz music and also a fancy dress box. This will be taking place on Sunday, 14th February.
We have tried to pick the least lovey-dovey options, however, the events this weekend can be as romantic as you wish with several different things taking place. Just take your pick.
