It’s no surprise to our avid blog readers that the team like to get out and about and this week was no exception. We attended an event at L’atelier des Chefs hosted by Lucien Barriere Hotels which allowed us to meet members of their sales team from their numerous properties as well as have a lot of fun in the process. Having been to L’atelier des Chefs previously we know it’s always a great night. Getting to work with some fantastic chefs whilst cooking up a storm is an opportunity that can never be turned down.
This time, split into teams and making new friends along the way, we were challenged to work together to recreate small dishes devised by the chefs. Aprons on and utensils at the ready we all worked as a team to create our very own masterpieces… from Sliders with a French twist of cheese and fois gras, fillet of sea bass with a herb sauce to olive oil crostini with a duck confit, pear and walnut compote with frisee salad! Watched closely by Head Chef of the Majestic Barriere in Cannes, Maryan Gandon, we were keen to show off our culinary talents.
Cocktails were also on the menu, where Nathan our mixologist for the evening taught us a couple of recipes we were all happy to try again at home. A great night out thanks to Lucien Barriere Hotels. If this is the kind of event that they organise then we look forward to sending our clients to one of their properties in the not too distant future!
