Last week Seven Events attended the Four Seasons University at their Marrakesh resort property. As a destination that is growing in popularity for incentive travel we were very keen to attend and experience it for ourselves… And we were not disappointed!!
The Four Seasons property in Marrakesh is simply stunning, with Moroccan décor and influences throughout and ideally located just minutes from the Medina and close to the Atlas mountains. Marrakesh is a vibrant and fast paced city, and the Four Seasons has managed to capture the culture whilst also providing an Oasis of calm to relax and unwind away from the craziness of the city centre.
We are all familiar with the high service levels of Four Seasons, but attending the University gave further insight into the brand philosophies and unparalleled mission to wow their guests. Their ‘get me wow’ incentive rewards staff when going the extra mile to wow guests. I experienced the wow with my waiter at dinner taking it upon himself to swap a bottle of wine won as a prize to a brand he knew I had enjoyed all week and putting it into my room iced with a rose. This simple act, highlights the attention to detail and the staff training that rewards and encourages initiative to create the WOW.
