national palace museum, taipei city
this museum has a permanent collection of nearly 700,000 pieces of ancient chinese imperial artifacts and artworks, making it one of the largest of its type in the world. you can find on their website a selection of virtual guided tours to choose from.
british museum, london
the original national museum, it opened it doors in 1759 and has definitely not fallen behind the times. their virtual tour has amazing graphics and a musical guide to take you through africa, the americas, asia, oceania and europe.
