09 Jan Nobu Hotel, London Portman Square
This week we came across the latest opening for the Nobu Hotel collection! Nobu Hospitality, the globally established lifestyle brand founded by Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro and Meir Teper, are delighted to announce the launch of its London West End hotel. Expected to open in early 2020, sitting in the vibrant and cosmopolitan area of Marylebone, the new Nobu Hotel will replace the now-closed Radisson Blu Portman Hotel on Portman Square.
Located in the heart of London’s Marylebone W1, Nobu Hotel London Portman Square will feature 249 guest rooms and suites, together with a Nobu restaurant, ballroom and meeting spaces beautifully conceptualised by London-based architecture and interior design firm, David Collins Studio, in conjunction with Make Architects. The group operates the Shoreditch Nobu hotel, which opened in 2017, and two standalone Nobu restaurants, both in Mayfair: Nobu at the Como Metropolitan Hotel in Old Park Lane, which opened in 1997, followed by a site on Berkeley Street eight years later.
Nobu Hotel is set in Portman Square W1, right in the heart of London’s West End, steps away from Marylebone’s independent boutiques, next to the world’s most prestigious shopping district of Oxford Street and Regent Street, and on the edge of Mayfair’s vibrant restaurants and bars, and Soho’s world-famous theatres.
