24 Jan New Ground Coffee
Our offices are a stone throw away from Selfridges and we happened to stumble across the new pop up coffee bar which has a giant slide, which will most certainly capture your attention from the road!
Selfridge’s new pop up coffee shop is called New Ground. It focusses on sustainability at the same time as having an eye-catching selling point which you can’t help but stop and stare at! The slide is thankfully for both adults and children so you can have a little fun whilst you wait for the skilled baristas to whip up your beverage. The shop trains and employs ex-offenders with a goal of reducing re-offending rates adding to its unusual element even more! It has a real focus on ethics and the environment, with the hot drinks being served in recyclable cups, which are then turned into Selfridges paper shopping bags.
The pop-up, which also serves teas, hot chocolates and pastries, is around for a few more weeks until 9th February 2020 so make sure you give it a try whilst it is around!
