There’s a New Kid in Town

Everyone loves a new venue, particularly in London, so although technicially this isn’t ‘new’ it is changing! Is it a bar? Is it a club? Is it a restaurant? Well actually it’s all three!

You’re probably familiar with D&D Londons current offer of Floridita but this is where things change. 100 Wardour Street is opening in its place and it’s shaping up to be a great space. The venue is set over two floors with a lounge and cocktail bar and all day restaurant on the ground floor with a second restaurant space on the lower ground floor.

This venue is bigger than you think as it can host 872 delegates for events and has 425 covers for dining – wow! In a former life this site housed the iconic Marquee Club, famous for acts such as Fleetwood Mac and the Rolling Stones making their London debuts, but in more recent years it’s been home to Floridita and Carom restaurant.

Executive chef at the venue will be Liam Smith-Laing, previously head chef at La Petitie Maison in Istanbul and prior to that at Skylong in London. The menu here will be modern Europeam and Medirerranean cuisine with a twist. So if you fancy trying out something different for your events at the beginning of next year then let us and know and we’ll be sure to point you in the right direction!
