21 Oct New and Luxurious London
Being the newbie, on Friday afternoon I was allocated some time to hit the streets and visit some new and newly refurbished luxury hotels all in aid of widening my knowledge. My first port of call was the newly refurbed Rosewood. This hotel pulled at my heart strings, it has a wonderful collection of artwork dotted around the hotel all linking marvellously to British Heritage. Even the little touches like the British novels ideally placed in the lobby (next to fantastic little chocolates I must add!). The Rosewood has an array of different event spaces from the large scale Ballroom to the smaller salon meeting rooms.
It really has something for everyone; an area for private dining with a kitchen set up, a beautiful and romantic restaurant (Mirror Room) that serves decadent dinners and The Holborn Dining Room, a vibrant bustling dining salon. So whether you seeking a formal or informal setting the Rosewood will have it covered.
Next on my hit list was a hotel just round the corner from Seven Eventss offices, The Beaumont. Open just 1 week this hotel is a first by Corbin & King, the restaurateurs behind The Wolseley and The Delaunay. The hotel has just 73 rooms based within a building built in 1926, reflecting on this the hotels interior is very Art Deco. Although small in numbers every room is spacious concentrating on comfort and service. This hotel is perfect for small meetings and incentive travel (The Beaumont has a small yet perfect spa and is a stone’s throw away from Selfridges).
