The New Postal Museum:
London has a new museum! The Postal Museum is opening on the 28th July and within its walls you will be able to discover the history of the world’s first ‘social network’ at The Postal Museum. Here you will be able to see a variety of interesting artefacts including post boxes, greet cards, uniforms and stamps. However the highlight of the experience is the postal train known as the Mail Rail which will take you through a network of tunnels which has kept London’s communication flowing for more than 75 years.
This museum also brings 2 news exciting venues for events, the first is the Mail Rail Depot. This is a captivating blank canvas space, set within the historical building with countless inspiring architectural features, including vaulted brick arches and railway influences. In addition the space is highly adaptable with a capacity of 275 standing and can be used for wide a wide variety of functions from parties to breakfast briefings.
The second space is The Postal Museum, a light, bright and contemporary space that benefits from a private sunny courtyard and innovative living wall. Available to hire for up to 140 people, the space is perfect for cocktail receptions, summer parties and laid back BBQs.
With the hire of each space there is also the possibility of offering your guests a ride on the Mail Rail, a fantastic highlight that will definitely make your event stand out.
