Oktoberfest in London
From October 5th – 22nd, the age old traditional Bavarian festival of Oktoberfest is coming to London! The event is being hosted by ERDINGER Weißbräu, a private German brewery who have been brewing beers since the 19th century.
Some the best features of the festival to look out for is:
- Erdinger’s Beer Tent – The main vocal point of the festival. A huge tent which has a capacity of over 3000 people. Expect to see lots of singing and dancing here!
- German Waitresses – Flown in especially for the event, the German waitresses are seasoned Oktoberfest professionals
- The Music – Many famous Oktoberfest bands will be performing at the event.
- Food – Pork Knuckle, Sauerkraut or Apple Strudel? The choice is yours with a range of Authentic German Dishes being served throughout the festival.
Even if the beer is not your thing, ERDINGER have all kinds of drinks from non alcoholic, from gluten free to wheat beers.
The festival is taking place at the Greenwich Peninsula right next to the 02 arena and river Thames with great transport links on the Tube and public transportation from North Greenwich. The team can’t wait to don some Lederhosen and get down to the tent. See you there.
