24 Jun olympics are on!
in huge news for the world of global events this week, tokyo 2020 president seiko hashimoto is “100%” certain the olympics will go ahead but warned the games “must be prepared” to proceed without spectators in the event of a coronavirus outbreak.
there is only 50 days to go now until the tokyo games which of course has already been pushed back a year due to covid 19.
its an important event for all those concerned in the events industry because it will be the first time we view an event on a global scale which requires the management and flow of people to this degree. the olympic organising committee has already mentioned the potential worst-case scenario being that the event will have to take place without any spectators.
the main objective by the organisers is to create a global bubble situation in order to control the athletes coming from overseas as well as people who are in japan, the residents and citizens of japan.
