As event manager’s we have all experienced that nightmare site visit! From a messy or unprepared meeting space to that sales person who doesn’t know anything about their product… vacant and unhelpful. To all you venue sales teams out there please take note of our top tips to great site visit.
Take the client on a journey through their event, from arrival, registration and cloakroom to the layout of the main space, helping them to visualise their desired set up. Point out all the positives of the event space and venue. A bit about the history or a funny story goes a long way to setting your venue apart from others, giving it character and making it memorable. Finally, most important of all, know your product and be passionate and enthusiastic.
