Post Easter Food Joints..

It’s no secret that here in the Seven Events office we are all big foodies. Easter is a fabulous time of year, like Christmas it is the perfect excuse to indulge in chocolate and all the other fineries of life!
We’ve put together some restaurants and quirky eateries that are really pushing the boat out this April. Don’t worry there’s always next month to start those beach body diets!

Bunnychow

Where: 74 Wardour Street, W1F 0TE

Why: Because, buns. For the whole of April, South African street food joint Bunnychow will be serving this unique take on a hot cross bun: the bun is hollowed out and filled with a choice of raspberry jam filling or warm chocolate filling, both available with clotted cream. Why have chocolate when you can have chocolate and cream…

Cinnamon Kitchen

Where: 9 Devonshire Square, EC2M 4WY

Why: Visit between 30 March and 11 April and you can choose a starter, main and dessert for £30 – get some spring spice on your plate.

The House of Ho

Where: 55-59 Old Compton Street, W1D 6HR

Why: Because who doesn’t want a Vietnamese Scotch egg (above)? This one contains a mix of minced pork, cellophane noodles, fish sauce and five spices, coated in a crispy fried shell of flour, egg and Japanese Panku breadcrumbs. £5 each, available 30 March – 6 April

Shake Shack
Where: 23-47 The Market Building, Covent Garden Piazza, WC2E 8HD

Why: Those shaker makers are making up batches of Shackbury Easter Egg Concrete: frozen vanilla custard, blended with salted marshmallow caramel sauce and Paul A Young milk chocolate chunks – until 6 April.

Sushisamba

Where: Heron Tower, 110 Bishopsgate (38-39th floor), EC2N 4AY

Why: Because of the eggs, of course. There’s a truffled egg with vanilla, purple potato and leek, a ‘wagyu te amo’ egg with quail egg, aji panca and gold or a green tea egg with white chocolate and yuzu.
