Restaurants with a view

London is not short of restaurants by any mean. If you are visiting London for a short period of time and want to make sure you see all sights, then make sure you visit a restaurant with a terrific view! Below are some of our favourites!

Oblix The Shard

The shard is home to a few amazing restaurants but one of my favourites is Oblix. Located on the 32nd floor it offers panoramic views across the London skyline. The restaurant offers up 3 different space. Oblix west delivers Rainer Becker’s signature style of upscale, sophisticated, urban dining. The menu showcases the best of British and European produce with dishes from its spit roast, charcoal grill and wood-fired oven.  Oblix east plays host to a stylish lounge with creative culinary cocktails and an extensive mix of seasonal dishes inspired by the thriving London food scene. Listen to live music and DJs with views stretching from the city and Tower Bridge over to Canary Wharf. Bar@east ensures every thought, drop of liquid, taste, smell and texture is shaken, stirred or served straight up with passion and fun.

Oxo Restaurant

Oxo Tower is an authentic London landmark, so it’s no surprise that its in-house restaurant, brasserie and bar offer a special occasion location. A glass frontage makes the most of the river views, and the plum vantage point allows you to fully appreciate the magnificence of St Paul’s. The food has an adventurous global slant, with accompaniment from a jazz trio in the evening.

Sushi Samba

Located in Herron tower its not the highest restaurant in the building that honour goes to duck and waffle. However, it oozes in glitz and glamour. Offering a unique blend of Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian cuisine. Two panoramic glass elevators whisk patrons from the ground to the 39th floor, opening up London from inside-out as the lifts climb further and further upwards. The main dining room has floor-to-ceiling glass windows offering up wonderful views of the city. A web of lights hung through the open bamboo ceiling at varying heights creates a magical experience for any dinner!
