After closing its doors in January, Roux at the Landau has now re opened with a new informal dining concept. The focus is on a pared back simplistic menu that lets the ingredients and flavours do the talking.
The evening was a foodies dream, hosted my Michelle Roux Jr, we were treated to a magnificent four course menu all paired with the perfect wines from the new 700 bottle strong wine list. Starting with a Cornish crab salad, that was both light and indulgent and then moving onto the finest fillet steak cooked to perfection with a berry sauce and creamy mash. Dipping your bread in the gravy was encouraged, all while enjoying a beautiful Bordeaux. Next was cheese and port, before a summery end with a basil and strawberry pannacotta with a glass of Moscato making for a perfect finish.
